Wickful Things
Recently I have been exploring pay-to-post sites. They all make a big fuss about how people can earn big bucks by simply writing articles or reviews. A person has to sign up, wait to be approved, then you get to read the fine print. One site requires something like 1000 posts before you can even begin to earn any money and after that, writers will make something in the neighborhood of $2.50 per post. Sorry, but I do have other things to do in my life besides sitting at my computer pecking away at the keyboard writing meaningless paragraphs all day.
Another site claimed that a person could write a review, on anything, and get paid $2.00 per review. It could be about a product that was purchased, a place that had been visited or even about a meal at a restaurant. Okay, I’ll give this one a try. I wrote several little reviews, followed their specific requirements and I get this bland little email saying they are not interested in my reviews. Well, so what? I really wasn’t all that interested in writing them.
What promoted me to write a review was a recent experience with a lovely lady named Chandra and her products that she sells on her site www.wickfulthings.com. The layout of the website is simple yet very attractive. The photos of the products are excellent and it’s very easy to navigate. You can also go to www.wickfulthings.etsy.com for more products.
Chandra’s products are handmade with great care. She offers various types of candles, soaps and hand-dipped incense. When I first visited her site, I was impressed. The pictures alone made me want to give the products a try, so I made a small order. I purchased a couple of bars of soap and incense. My package arrived within the week. I could smell the wonderful aroma before I began to tear into the box. As a added bonus, Chandra had included an extra bar of soap as a thank you for doing business with her.
The incense filled the room with a delightful fragrance that lasted for several hours. The soap was even more of a treat. Rich lather with a heavenly scent that left my skin velvety smooth. It also rinsed very clean. I had no feeling of residue like I have experienced with commercial products.
Since the review site declined my review of Wickful Things, I wanted to let everyone know about the exceptional products that are offered by Chandra. Not only are they handmade with care, carefully packaged for their journey to your house, they are very reasonably priced and well worth every penny spent.
I encourage everyone to try some products from Wickful Things and may everyone be as satisfied with their purchase as I was with mine.
