Peta seems to be a pretty hot topic these days.  There are numerous “anti-peta” sites. In fact, I have found more anti-peta sites than I have pro-peta. One site, www.peta-sucks.com welcomes visitors and has a board set up specifically for rants by anyone who cares to speak their mind.

Peta, on the other hand, will not allow  posts on their site that are not pro-peta. This proves to me that they all have their heads stuck in the sand, or up their own asses. They believe that only their opinion matters and the rest of the world is wrong.

I had signed up for an account on peta2, the kiddie board, because peta moderators would not allow me to post on the adult forums. One night, while in a particularly foul mood, I was reading the message boards. There were numerous posts about how meat eaters were murderers, had no respect for life and all we did was troll their forums. Was I trolling?? Yes!! Their illiteracy is mind boggling, even for teenagers, and I made a comment about it.  When I came to a posting about trolls, I couldn’t stop myself and wrote, “I would rather be a troll than a petard”.

That did it! My account was banned for “inappropriate” content. They are so childish at peta that they can not handle something as simple as being called a petard but they don’t mind blasting the hell out of people they dislike, like Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. Just go to www.peta.org and do a search on “Trollsen Twins”. Peta is no better than the local school yard bully who can dish it out but can’t take it.

Their latest endeavor was to attempt to have a commercial during the Super Bowl. Peta claims it was “too hot” for NBC. You can see it here: http://blog.peta.org/archives/2009/01/veggie_love.php  In my opinion, it was tasteless and trashy and better suited for an XXX rated channel than a family event. Who cares if vegetarians think they are good in bed?? That subject should be kept behind closed doors anyway.

What is with all the nudity and peta anyway?? They claim to want to persuade the younger generation to live life their way. I can not see how exploiting women for any reason can be beneficial to an organization. In the end, they are only hurting themselves and causing more people to turn against them.

Back to trolling. The peta2 site has rules on their front page which apparently only applies to peta supporters. If you are not a supporter, you get kicked out. Here’s a perfect example:              (My old post got deleted because the admins got offended)

 i dont know i just dont think its the same because some people mught consider it “anoying” calling the phone line but calling the phone line and giving youre oppinion (politly,wich is possible) is diffrrent then what trolls do ,espically when wher trying to prevent somthing bad and wat are the trolls preventing what they do u get nothing good out of.

My first question, how do you guys like it when the trolls and spammers come here to PETA2 and spam our forums? Honistly how do you like it?

I bet you’ll all say that you hate it and wish they’d stop. And yet you guys turn around and do the same shit to others. By calling Armani, all your doing is trolling and spamming Armani’s phone lines.

THis is no different then the people who do it to us here.

It’s real hypocirtical to do things like this and then complain about the trolls and spammers.

It’s stuff like this that makes me want to leave peta and the ar movement all thogether some days.

They seem to feel that it is perfectly okay to harass, insult, and bully anyone who does not follow their beliefs. But yet, when anyone dares say something against them, that person is banned from their message boards. They go after companies who they know nothing about. The KFC campaign is one of them. Peta constantly protests this establishment for “torturing” chickens, when in fact, KFC has nothing to do with handling live chickens. They only sell processed meat.

Another major campaign for peta is the fur industry. Women in fur coats are tormented by these inconsiderate idiots. I would love to see some of the people that peta protests against go out and trash peta property. I wonder how a petard would like it if they were walking down the street,  minding their own business and someone came up to them and threw a can of paint on them.

Peta claims that they do not try to force their views on anyone. What do you call defamation of public property? It is peta’s way of trying to get their point across. I think peta is the true troll here.
